u can find the corridor here. it has got important place in my prayer. during my stay in home state every monthly poosam i used to attend. very painful period i underwent so my prayer towards vallalar was" ayya i dont believe in my parents neither my relatives and i cant take refugee anywhere as a failed boy, so if anything goes wrong as shame i will simply come with polydol(pesticide) drink here and i will sleep in your corridor":) that was my true prayer.
no mathras , no coconut, no offerings. prayers are mainly through telepathy.

when periyar( E.V Ramasamy nayakar) came to sabai, he never entered into the sabai, he stood out and gazed at the doors. when he was asked to come in , he pointed the above phrase which says" those who left killing even in eating(non-veg) can enter" he told " i eat non veg."
this oven was lit by vallalar himself it cntinues withut any putoff. everyday after finishing cooking they put few firewoods into the oven and it maintains the fire, next day they start cook with the same fire.

vallalar never passed out from any world class intitutions :) the whole temple planning was done by vallalar himself. it is an octognal structre and it resembles the head part. the two sabai (silver colour and golden colour) resembles two eyes and the holy light is in puruva mathi(centre of the forehead).
NO EATBLE SHOPS ,NO AMUSEMENT PARKS NEARBY BUT STILL WE CAN FEEL SOMETHING WHEN WE ROAM AROUND THE CAMPUS.

Hi Balu good article and photos of Vandalur sabai. I felt I'm in that place. Blessed feeling. From my understanding, two sabai porchchabai (gold) represents uyir and chirchabai i(white)aanma and gnana sabai represents arutperunjothi (head centre). This is what it means ADI,Nadu,mudi
